Food, food, glorious food.

As a young rat I grew up on a healthy diet of garbage so…let me tell you… I do love myself a bit of FoodTube of an evening. If you’re anything like me and you enjoy whiling away hours drooling over delicious dishes from across the globe, then chances are you’re well acquainted with the Best Ever Food Review Show. If not…well… you’re about to find your new addiction, my friend!  Brace yourself!

The Best Ever Food Review Show is a food and travel channel created by Will Sonbuchner, who more often goes by the alias Sonny Side. Will’s channel is full to bursting with delicious content and food reviews. If you’re into international cuisine then will is the man FOR YOU!

Sonny Side is the king of exotic food and the majority of his videos involve sampling local cuisines and experiencing different cultures. But this ain’t no documentary. Sully always makes sure his viewers have a good old laugh too. He’s such a funny dude.

The Channel’s first episode was uploaded way back in 2015. A couple of years later in 2019, Sonny hit his big break with his video entitled Eating with the World’s Most Isolated Tribe!!! The Tree People of Papua, Indonesia!!; a video that has since amounted to over 25 million views!

Today the Best Ever Food Review Show has a subscriber base of 7.55 million, a full production team of ten, a Weebly Award for “People’s Voice: Viral Video of The Year” and a strong, loyal following.

Sonny’s success is undeniable. His current yearly income is predicted to be within the range of $108.6K and $1.7 million dollars. If we break that down, that’s the equivalent of between $9K and $144.7K per month, or between $302 and $4.8K each day!

Those are some mad earnings if I do say so myself.

And lucky for us, Sonny is a man of transparency. In his own video “How I Run My YouTube Business!! (10 Member Production Team)”, Sonny outlines how he and his team earn revenue from their videos. Needless to say, I lapped up this free business advice, and lucky for you, I’m nice enough to share my findings.

So, here are some of the secrets behind how the Best Ever Food Review Show team makes their money!

Ads Ads Ads: more Ads means more revenue and longer videos have room for more ads. So long-form content is a tried-and-tested revenue winner for Sonny and the team.

Merchandise: the channel also earns revenue from its own range of branded merchandise. This merch is available on their official store and includes things like bandanas, hoodies, t-shirts, and more.

Sponsorships: Sonny and the team earn increased revenue from brands when they include sponsored brand content in their videos.

Patreon: The Best Every Food Review Show has a dedicated Patreon channel, where fans can access exclusive additional content for a small monthly fee.
